Delete your Linkker account
This page explains how to delete your account for Linkker (the iPhone app, the Android app com.linkker.app and the Chrome extension), developed by Nikhil Biju, and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
The quickest way. Deletion starts immediately and you’ll be signed out.
On Android
- Open the Linkker app and sign in
- Tap Profile
- Tap Settings
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
On iPhone
- Open the Linkker app and sign in
- Tap Profile
- Tap Delete account and confirm
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. If you have a Linkker Pro subscription through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in your store’s subscription settings as well. Deleting your account doesn’t stop store billing.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
No longer have the app installed? Fill in this form. It opens your email app with a pre-written request to nikhilbiju6449@gmail.com. Please send it from the email address you use to sign in to Linkker so we can verify the account is yours. Nothing is sent until you press Send in your email app.
Prefer to write it yourself? Email nikhilbiju6449@gmail.com with the subject “Linkker account deletion request” and the email address on your account.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
You don’t have to close your account to remove data. In the Linkker app or Chrome extension you can delete:
- Individual links: open the link’s ⋯ menu (or long-press it) and choose Delete. You can also select several links and delete them together.
- Collections and folders: open the collection’s menu and choose Delete.
- Clipboard notes: open the note’s menu and choose Delete.
- Paired transfer devices: in Transfer, choose Disconnect next to a device.
Deleted items are removed from our live systems right away and from backups within 90 days. To ask us to delete specific data for you instead, email nikhilbiju6449@gmail.com with the subject “Linkker data deletion request”, your account email and what you’d like removed.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile: name, email address, profile picture and sign-in identifiers
- All saved links, notes, categories, collections and folders, including protected and “Not safe for work” links
- Your settings and preferences
- Paired transfer devices and their device records (name, local network address, online status)
- Your subscription link to your account in our systems
Files you sent with phone-to-computer transfer were never stored on our servers. Copies remain only on your own devices.
What we keep, and for how long
